BRIEF: Design a CONTEMPORARY staircase within the double-height atrium for the Union Building.

Narrative: Inspired by the Penrose illusion, 'the 'impossible staircase.'

 

My design explores paradoxical architecture to achieve a floating mid-platform design that has been engineered to require no EXTERNAL structural support.
